Telemedicine and Regulation

Since 2002, Resolution No. 1,643/2002 of the Federal Council of Medicine (CFM) has generally regulated the provision of services through telemedicine. With the COVID-19 pandemic, Law No. 13,989/2020 allowed the use of telemedicine in an emergency character.
